[01] Introduction
Hello! I'm Thomas, a Computer Science student studying at Aberystwyth University with an interest in webdev, software development and creative problem solving.
Outside of university I'm someone who enjoys exploring nature, getting creative and immersing myself in fiction. Whether that's hiking through the beautiful Welsh countryside to playing a variety of TTRPGs to creating art in all its forms. I always aim to take opportunities to learn, create and explore.
I am always striving to experience new things, find new parts of town that I haven't seen before and explore off the beaten path. Whilst walking through the forest I try to pay close attention to the different plants that grow around me. I like to think that I am the same with learning; always in search for more efficient ways to create software that people actually want to use. I often feel like going on walks can bring newfound inspiration for all aspects of my life.

[03] Beyond Development
Outside of education I enjoy a variety of other hobbies and interests...
Hiking
I enjoy walking through nearby woodlands and forests, exploring the wilderness and taking in the calmness of nature. I often listen to ambient game soundtracks like C418's Volume Beta and No Man's Sky: Music for an Infinite Universe whilst walking and just take in my surroundings. I find hiking to be a free, easy way to de-stress in an almost mediative way.
Tabletop Role-Playing Games
Tabletop Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs) are a kind of game which involves collaborating as a group to create a narrative storyline using given rules depending on the specific ruleset. I have played a number of TTRPGs before, each with different themes but all with the primary focus of creativity, teamwork and problem solving.
Some of my favourite TTRPGs are:
